Sometimes your computer may fail to get an IP Address from Easy Connect Mode. You still may be able to connect to your Squink or SV2 by configuring your computer to use the same subnet as the printer. The following instructions will explain how. Please make sure you are connecting directly over Ethernet (ie an Ethernet cable from the Ethernet port on your computer to the Ethernet port on your printer).

Navigate to your Ethernet Port
Open the Control Panel then goto "All Control Panel Items" then "Network Connections." We will be using the Ethernet connection that you have connected to your printer. Right click on the Ethernet connect and then click "Properties"Modify the Ethernet Properties
In the dialog box that appears select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)."
Then click the "Properties" button.
Set a Static IP Address
Select the radio button that says "Use the following IP address". Then enter the following:
IP Address | 10.10.10.9 |
Subnet mask | 255.0.0.0 |
Default Gateway | 10.10.10.10 |
Then click "Ok"

Navigate to the Network Settings
Launch Settings and click on the Network Icon.
Setup a Manual Configuration
Select the Ethernet connection. Make sure "Configure IPv4:" is set to "Manually." Then enter the following:
IP Address | 10.10.10.9 |
Subnet mask | 255.0.0.0 |
Default Gateway | 10.10.10.10 |
Then click "Apply"
